Hi , I have echo images which originally were in dicom format, but have been converted to dvd/mpeg format before being stored in the computer
I now need to make some measurements , which cannot be done in the current format.
need to convert back to dicom, and load into echo machine ( Phillips make ) and try to take the measurements.
can you please suggest how i can measure distances , with or without this routine

Hello,

We have various examples which showcase converting media files into a compatible DICOM file. I would recommend referencing a forum post we have on our website for an example workflow on how to achieve this. You can find this here: https://www.leadtools.co...port/forum/posts/t12193-

In particular you'll want to perform this conversion using ConvertCtrl, used in conjunction with the TargetFile Property and MPEG2TransportDICOM Enum.

Which development language are you intending to use to develop with? The LEADTOOLS SDK provides many means for measurement, such as through the use of annotations. You can see a full description of implementing annotations in respect to your workflow here:
https://www.leadtools.co...menting-annotations.html

Do note that we showcase these means of measurement when working with DICOM files through our demos. For reference, this is showcased in our Medical Viewer demo which you can find if you have the LEADTOOLS v20 SDK installed. You can find this demo at the following default installation location: C:\LEADTOOLS 20\Shortcuts\Medical Viewer\.NET Framework Class Libraries\Medical Viewer\Main Medical Viewer Demo

If you have any additional questions or concerns about this, please don't hesitate to reach out to us through email at support@leadtools.com
