Specifies the trade-off setting of the OCR document engine that will be applied during auto-zoning and recognition.

Parameter

Description

hDoc

Handle to the OCR document.

TradeOff

Value that represents the trade-off setting to be used. For a list of possible values, refer to DOC2_RECOGMODULE_TRADEOFF.

Returns

SUCCESS

The function was successful.

An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes.

Comments

Specifies the trade-off setting (speed, accuracy or both) of the OCR document engine that will be used during auto-zoning and recognition.

To apply auto-zone detection in a specific page, call the L_Doc2FindZones function. To recognize a page, call the L_Doc2Recognize function.

The OCR document engine trade-off setting is effective for the following recognition modules:

This setting does not influence the behavior of any other DOC2_RECOGMODULE recognition module. Not all of the above modules interpret the settings in the same way.

If this function is not called, the default value DOC2_RECGMD_ACCURATE is applied.
