LEAD offers a variety of features, such as Document support, Medical support, Vector support, Plug-ins, and Modules, which are available only in certain toolkits, and are locked.
Examples of Locked Features:
ABC, ABIC, JBIG2, and NITF file format support
Barcode Support
Medical imaging, DICOM file format, and DICOM communications support
PDF, ICR, OCR, and OMR Document Imaging support
Vector file format support (such as DXF, DWF, DWG, PCT, PLT, DRW, DGN, WMF, EMF, GBR, and CGM)
To use locked features you must:
Purchase a development license for the toolkit or desired add-on that supports the desired feature(s).
Purchase any necessary deployment licenses, and if applicable, complete and sign a Commercial Distribution License. The signed document may be scanned as a PDF file and sent to licensing@leadtools.com or sent via fax to 704-372-8139. (To obtain a copy of the Commercial Distribution License for your product(s) contact oemsales@leadtools.com.).
If prepaid licenses are desired, include the order form with payment information. You can send this along with the deployment license agreement. (To get a copy of the order form, contact oemsales@leadtools.com.).
Once we have received the Deployment License Application form and, if applicable, the Commercial Distribution License, we will send the key(s) necessary for unlocking the appropriate features along with instructions for eliminating the license dialogs..
When you have received the the instructions and the key(s), call the appropriate license function for your platform:

C++ Class Library: LSettings::SetLicenseFile
.NET / Silverlight / Objective C / Java: RasterSupport.SetLicense

Multimedia (MM) toolkits:
Call ILMDSKernel2::UnlockModule in DSKernel to unlock special features for the MM toolkit.
L_SetLicenseFile and L_IsSupportLocked can be called by LEADTOOLS Raster customers to unlock the DVD Burner (Media Raster as it is called in the raster toolkit). The DVD Burner can also be unlocked using ILMDSKernel2::UnlockModule.
