LEAD Technologies, Inc

BeginParse Method

Either a Leadtools.Forms.Ocr.IOcrEngine object or null.
Begins parsing this document.
Syntax
public void BeginParse(
   object args
)
'Declaration

Public Sub BeginParse( _
   ByVal args As Object _
)
'Usage

Dim instance As DocumentObjectManager
Dim args As Object

instance.BeginParse(args)
public void BeginParse(
   object args
)
 function Leadtools.Forms.DocumentReaders.DocumentObjectManager.BeginParse(
   args
)
public:
void BeginParse(
   Object^ args
)

Parameters

args
Either a Leadtools.Forms.Ocr.IOcrEngine object or null.
Remarks

You must call BeginParse before making any calls to ParsePageText in this document; otherwise, an exception will be thrown. When parsing is finished, you must call EndParse.

If this document is a raster document reader (the DocumentReader.ReaderType is DocumentReaderType.Raster), then parsing text will be performed using LEADTOOLS OCR. A valid Leadtools.Forms.Ocr.IOcrEngine object needs to be initialized, started and passed to the args parameter of BeginParse.

If this document is a PDF or XPS reader (the DocumentReader.ReaderType is DocumentReaderType.Pdf or DocumentReaderType.Xps), then OCR is not required to parse the document text and any object passed in the parameter args will not be used.

Example

For an example, refer to DocumentObjectManager.
