LEADTOOLS provides the best in imaging toolkits to developers who are working with the latest Microsoft technologies targeting 32 and 64-bit platforms (including Windows 7, Vista, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Server versions 2003, 2006 and 2008). Our SDKs include both Win32 and x64 libraries for C DLL, C++ class libraries, .NET, WCF, Windows Workflow, WPF, AJAX, Silverlight and Silverlight Windows Phone. ActiveX interfaces are provided as 32 bit only.

The LEADTOOLS product line includes stand alone toolkits, add on modules and product bundles that are specifically targeted for programmers developing medical solutions, document imaging and recognition solutions, multimedia solutions still-frame imaging solutions and vector imaging solutions. Within each of these product groups, LEADTOOLS provides the most comprehensive, robust, flexible, and powerful imaging solutions available.

This latest version of the LEADTOOLS SDKs includes all the award-winning imaging technology LEAD has developed over the past 20 years, and introduces many significant new features and enhancements. This version contains countless demos, code samples and examples to help you complete your project quickly, including several pre-built applications with sample source code that are virtually ready for you to deploy. Version 17 is easily the fastest and most advanced version of LEADTOOLS to date.

The Medical Imaging products have been enhanced to include an updated Medical Viewer Control, a complete 3D medical imaging engine, and several new DICOM PACS Framework add-ins including DICOM worklist, router, high level storage, query and retrieve.

The Document Imaging products now include an all new Arabic OCR engine, an enhanced Asian OCR engine, new XLS OCR output, advanced table detection, significant optimizations to the LEADTOOLS OCR Advantage engine and a comprehensive JPIP module.

The Multimedia toolkit is now available as a fully native .NET library. It includes 64bit binaries, the ability to capture and encode full HD content and contains all new support for HD Digital TV Tuners.

The Vector toolkit includes the tools developers need to add powerful raster and vector imaging technology to applications, and has been updated to support Visual Studio 2010.

The LEADTOOLS Imaging SDK includes the basic tools developers need to add advanced imaging features to applications, and have been updated to support Visual Studio 2010.

Full-featured Silverlight and Silverlight Windows Phone toolkits are also available in the Document and Medical product groups. Some of the Silverlight features include complete support for the DICOM Dataset, a comprehensive annotation engine with over 20 annotation objects and advanced image processing engine with 130+ functions. The Silverlight toolkit also includes an updated image viewer with native support for loading over 100 file formats and elegant pixel shaders and other viewing options.

Other new features in this version include enhanced PDF support, the ability to load and rasterize Powerpoint, WORD and XLS, and support for the Analyze Medical format. ActiveX controls allow you to rapidly use your existing .NET code and incorporate image compression, file format support, and image processing functionality into VB.6 and VC++ applications.
