Imaging Technology
LEADTOOLS Vector Imaging provides 2-D and 3-D vector imaging for loading, viewing, creating, modifying and saving vector files to memory/disk in native vector format.
With Vector Imaging, objects are represented as exact geometrical entities, rather than approximated by a collection of discrete pixels, making them inherently scalable and suitable for other mathematical transformations. Drawing and CAD/CAM programs typically use vector images.
About LEADTOOLS' Vector Imaging
Engine:
- Vector File Formats include CGM, DGN, DRW, DWF, DWG, DXF, EMF, WMF, PLT (HPGL), Gerber, PCL, PCT, SVG, VWPG, CMX, SHP and NAP.
- View/Edit objects and view parameters
at runtime and in real-time.
- Primitive objects with brush and camera settings include Arc, Circle, Clone, Ellipse, Elliptical Arc, Group, Layer, Line, Pen, Pie, Chord, Poly Draw, Polygon, Poly Line, Poly Bezier, Raster, Rectangle, Vertex, H-Poly Bezier, Spline, Bitmap, Text, Font, and Clipping objects.
- Add, edit, and delete objects.
- Rotate around any axis, translate,
and scale (1-1000%) entire images or selected objects.
- Convert complex objects to more primitive
types.
- Group objects into layers or groups,
copy or move objects between layers or groups.
- Add, edit, delete and copy entire
layers and groups between vector images.
- Make layers invisible or lock (disable
changes to) individual layers.
- Convert points from world space to

to select/deselect objects.
