Leadtools.ImageProcessing.Core Namespace : ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand Class

Converts a signed image to unsigned. Supported in Silverlight, Windows Phone 7

Object Model

ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand Class

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Public Class ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand
   Inherits Leadtools.ImageProcessing.RasterCommand
   Implements IRasterCommand
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim instance As ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand
C#
public class ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand : Leadtools.ImageProcessing.RasterCommand, IRasterCommand
C++/CLI
public ref class ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand : public Leadtools.ImageProcessing.RasterCommand, IRasterCommand

Example

Run the ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand on an image. The passed image must be signed image.

Visual BasicCopy Code
Public Sub ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommandExample()
   Dim codecs As New RasterCodecs()
   codecs.ThrowExceptionsOnInvalidImages = True

   Dim leadImage As RasterImage = codecs.Load(Path.Combine(LEAD_VARS.ImagesDir, "IMAGE2.dcm"))

   ' Prepare the command
   Dim command As ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand = New ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand
   command.Type = ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommandType.ShiftNegativeToZero
   'convert image to unsigned.
   command.Run(leadImage)

End Sub

Public NotInheritable Class LEAD_VARS
   Public Const ImagesDir As String = "C:\Users\Public\Documents\LEADTOOLS Images"
End Class
C#Copy Code
public void ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommandExample()
   {
      // Load an image
      RasterCodecs codecs = new RasterCodecs();
      codecs.ThrowExceptionsOnInvalidImages = true;

      RasterImage image = codecs.Load(Path.Combine(LEAD_VARS.ImagesDir, "IMAGE2.dcm"));

      // Prepare the command
      ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand command = new ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand();
      command.Type   = ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommandType.ShiftNegativeToZero;
      //convert image to unsigned.
      command.Run(image);

   }

static class LEAD_VARS
{
   public const string ImagesDir = @"C:\Users\Public\Documents\LEADTOOLS Images";
}
SilverlightCSharpCopy Code
public void ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommandExample(RasterImage image)
{
   // Prepare the command
   ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand command = new ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand();
   command.Type   = ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommandType.ShiftNegativeToZero;
   //convert image to unsigned.
   command.Run(image);
   image.Dispose();
}
SilverlightVBCopy Code
Public Sub ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommandExample(ByVal image As RasterImage)
   ' Prepare the command
   Dim command As ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand = New ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommand()
   command.Type = ConvertSignedToUnsignedCommandType.ShiftNegativeToZero
   'convert image to unsigned.
   command.Run(image)
   image.Dispose()
End Sub

Remarks

  • The image may contain negative pixel values and LEADTOOLS will paint/process the image incorrectly. To use this image correctly the negative pixels should be converted, if it contains negative pixels (if Leadtools.RasterImage.Signed is True).
  • If the Leadtools.RasterImage.Signed is set to True, this method will shift the color values in the image according to Type property.
  • The method will also update the Leadtools.RasterImage.MinValue and Leadtools.RasterImage.MaxValue properties of the Leadtools.RasterImage.
  • .
  • This method supports 12 and 16-bit grayscale and 48 and 64-bit color images. Support for 12 and 16-bit grayscale and 48 and 64-bit color images is available only in the Document/Medical toolkits.
  • This command does not support 32-bit grayscale images.
