Additional Document Imaging Features
The LEADTOOLS Document Imaging toolkit provides extended support for Image Display, Scanning / Screen Capture, and Image Processing features that are not supported in the LEADTOOLS Imaging Pro product, such as comprehensive annotations, specialized bitonal image display and processing, image clean-up, high-speed scanning, OCR/MICR/ICR/OMR (character, hand-print and form processing) add-ons, and much more. It includes everything you need to create high performance applications specifically for the document imaging vertical market.
With calls for "paperless offices," "document archiving," and "electronic file cabinets," your clients are asking for more sophisticated and specific document imaging functionality to be included in your applications. LEADTOOLS' Document Imaging product line builds from LEADTOOLS' Raster Imaging technology to add features specifically for black and white imaging with the best possible performance.

12 and 16 bit grayscale image support.
8-16 bit grayscale lossy and lossless JPEG compression,
TWAIN scanning (16-bit grayscale and up to 48-bit color)

Bitonal image processing, including document cleanup features like image deskew and despeckle.

Scale to Gray 1-bit image display
Favor black display which preserves black objects when displaying zoomed-out 1-bit images.
