Adds a Transfer Syntax to the specified Presentation Context.

Parameter

Description

nID

Presentation ID. The presentation ID provides information about both the class type of the data and the transfer syntax to use when transferring the data.

pszUID

Character string that contains the new Transfer Syntax to add. For a list of possible values, refer to Transfer Syntax Values.

An error occurred. Refer to Return Codes.

Comments

A DICOM Associate (Request or Accept) can have multiple Presentation Contexts. A Transfer Syntax can be added by specifying the ID for the appropriate Presentation Context to which to add the Transfer Syntax.
