Returns the number of Transfer Syntax entries for the specified Presentation Context.

Parameter

Description

hPDU

A DICOM Associate handle.

nID

Presentation ID. The presentation ID provides information about both the class type of the data and the transfer syntax to use when transferring the data.

Returns

The number of Transfer Syntax entries for the specified Presentation Context.

Comments

A DICOM Associate can have more than one Presentation Context. The nID parameter identifies which Presentation Context to use when getting the number of Transfer Syntax entries.

A Presentation Context for an Associate Accept has only one Transfer Syntax. Therefore if you call this function for the Presentation Context of a DICOM Associate Accept, it will return 1.
