When wanting to work with the ICR option of the Forms Recognition & Processing Demo (Forms Demo), you will need to make sure you have the following prerequisites:

HowTo.png correct.png

  • You will need to have downloaded the "v20 ICR and additional OCR Languages" package found on the LEADTOOLS downloads page: https://www.leadtools.com/downloads This will enable the "Ocr_Icr" option that was originally grayed out in the above picture.

  • When opening the Forms Recognition & Processing demo, you will need to choose the "OmniPage OCR Engine" when prompted. You will need to use the OmniPage engine when working with ICR, as the OmniPage engine is the only LEADTOOLS product that provides ICR. For more information regarding this, you can reference here: https://www.leadtools.com/sdk/omnipage-icr

  • When you now click on the Ocr_Icr option and click Recognize, using one of our examples, you should get results similar to the picture below. You can find the repository for this example at the following default installation location: C:\Users\Public\Documents\LEADTOOLS Images\Forms\MasterForm Sets\OCR_ICR. If you have any additional issues or questions please contact us a support@leadtools.com.
