Leadtools.Forms.Ocr Namespace > IOcrSettingDescriptor Interface : GetEnumMemberFriendlyNames Method

The GetEnumMemberFriendlyNames Method is available as an add-on to the LEADTOOLS Document and Medical Imaging toolkits.

Gets an array of strings containing the enumeration members friendly names.

Syntax

Visual Basic (Declaration)
Function GetEnumMemberFriendlyNames() As String()
Visual Basic (Usage)Copy Code
Dim instance As IOcrSettingDescriptor
Dim value() As String

value = instance.GetEnumMemberFriendlyNames()
C#
string[] GetEnumMemberFriendlyNames()
C++/CLI
array<String^>^ GetEnumMemberFriendlyNames();

Return Value

An array of strings containing the enumeration members friendly names.

Example

For an example, refer to IOcrSettingManager.

Remarks

If the enum members can be OR'ed together, you can OR multiple members obtained from GetEnumMemberValues or GetEnumMemberFriendlyNames into one integer or string value (separated by a comma) and pass them as the setting value. This is the same as having an enum in .NET decorated with the System.FlagsAttribute.

If the enum members cannot be OR'ed together (The value of EnumIsFlags is false), then only one member obtained from GetEnumMemberValues or GetEnumMemberFriendlyNames can used as the setting value. This the same as having an enum in .NET not decorated with the System.FlagsAttribute.

This member is only valid if ValueType is OcrSettingValueType.Enum.

For a list of supported engine-specific settings and their meanings, refer to OCR engine-specific Settings.

Requirements

Target Platforms: Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 family, Windows Server 2008 family, Windows Vista, Windows 7
