DjVu Format (DJVU)

Support for the DjVu format has been discontinued effective with Version 17.

The DjVu format is a raster file representing a new image compression technology that allows the distribution on the Internet of very high resolution images of scanned documents, digital documents and photographs. This format was developed by LizardTech and is supported by the LizardTech SDK. LEADTOOLS, using the LizardTech SDK 3.6, can load DJVU files. LEADTOOLS does not save DJVU files.

LEADTOOLS® supports the loading of DJVU files at different resolutions, depending on the user's preference. In the C DLL the L_SetDJVOptions and L_GetDJVOptions functions let the programmer manipulate the resolution for DJVU files.

The default extensions used by this format are: DJV, DJVU.
