Trims the current image, removing blank space around the edges.

Run the AutoCropCommand on an image and then AutoCrops the image.

Remarks

  • Generally, this command is used for automatically trimming blank space from the edges of scanned documents.
  • Nevertheless, because this command uses changes in intensity to detect blank space, it can trim edges of any color or intensity.
  • If a region is defined for the image, the region is also trimmed if necessary.
  • This command supports 12 and 16-bit grayscale and 48 and 64-bit color images. Support for 12 and 16-bit grayscale and 48 and 64-bit color images is available only in the Document/Medical toolkits.
  • This command does not support signed data images.
  • This command does not support 32-bit grayscale images.
