FAQ: Why am I getting "Invalid Parameter Passed" with RasterSupport.SetLicense()/L_SetLice

When unlocking support with the toolkit, you'll need to call either RasterSupport.SetLicense() [.NET] or L_SetLicenseFile()/L_SetLicenseBuffer(). If you pass two strings with the paths to the license file and developer key file, you will see an "Invalid Parameter Passed" exception/return code.

Note that the files provided to you are designed to be a public/private key pair. You'll need to deploy the license file (public key), while the developer key (private key) cannot be deployed. To use the developer key, you should copy the contents of the KEY file into your application. This way the key will be embedded directly into your EXE and stays private to the developer.
