no YV12 being offered from MPEG2 decoder

I am trying to connect a filter to the MPEG2 decoder. That filter wants a planar YUV color format, but for some reason it never sees that type being offered by the LEAD decoder.

I can manually create a graph and see that MEDIASUBTYPE_YV12 is an option on the decoder's output pin, but for some reason my filter never sees that. It sees YUY2, UYVY, then a bunch of RGB formats.

Trying to connect directly returns VFW_E_NO_ACCEPTABLE_TYPES.

Does anybody know what might be going on? I am using LEAD MPEG2 Decoder (2.0), the version number on the DLL is 1.0.0.180

Does the filter you have accept the YV12 subtype from filters other than our decoder?
Do you have a small sample uncompressed AVI file with the YV12 media subtype you can send me to test with?

Yes, if the LEAD colorspace converter is available, it gets inserted and sends YV12 to my filter. Unfortunately, I have encountered several machines which don't have an appropriate transform filter available.

I will try to find a sample to send you.
