Hi,

I am using Lead Tools Play Control and need to provide a menu to start video from selected frame positions. The menu will also contain a screen shot from the video of the particular frame position.

So, is it possible to capture a screen shot of the specified frame position in the video?

Thanks.

You can start playing the video from selected frame position by using the ltmmPlayCtrl1.CurrentFramePosition property as follows:
+--------+
ltmmPlayCtrl1.AutoStart = False
ltmmPlayCtrl1.sourcefile = "C:\Long.avi"
ltmmPlayCtrl1.CurrentFramePosition = 100
ltmmPlayCtrl1.Run
+--------+

Also, you can take a snapshot from the running stream by using one of the following methods (all members of ltmmPlay):
------------
GetStillDIB
GetStillPicture
SaveStillBitmap
SaveStillDIB
------------

The code will be something as follows:
+--------+
ltmmPlayCtrl1.AutoStart = False
ltmmPlayCtrl1.sourcefile = "C:\Long.avi"
ltmmPlayCtrl1.CurrentFramePosition = 100
ltmmPlayCtrl1.SaveStillBitmap "C:\StillBitmap.bmp", ltmmPlay_StillFormat_BMP, 2, 0, -1
+--------+

Thanks,
