Hello, I have bought 2 years ago Raster Image Pro with PDF and Datamatrix plugin.
I have a c# program that write a datamatrix into a PDF file.
I noticed that some pdf file return with error when I call :
Leadtools.Codecs.CodecsImageInfo infoOriginal = _codecs.GetInformation(inputFileName1, true);

the error is: Message=PDF Error - File is corrupted

I also noticed that Leattools v.15 not support all PDF file versions.
Maybe my problem is that the PDF file is a new version that leadtools 15 not support.
Attached the file in question.

The question is: If I upgrade my pdf plugin from version 15 to the latest version, I fix the problem?

Thanks

Bye

Andrea

Andrea,
Your attachment was not received correctly, can you re-attach the image in a ZIP or RAR file to ensure it is delivered correctly?
You can either post it here or send it to support@leadtools.com and mention this post.
When attaching to the forums, do not use the "Preview" feature.

LEADTOOLS version 15 supports PDF version 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4 of this format.
The latest version of LEADTOOLS (version 17) supports PDF version 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6 and PdfA.
In any case, please send me the PDF files and exact steps to see the error at my side.

Andrea,
The PDF file is PDF version 1.5 which is not supported in LEADTOOLS v15.
However, PDF v1.5 is supported in LEADTOOLS v17 and I was able to successfully load the file using LEADTOOLS v17.
I suggest that you download the free evaluation version from our website and test your files using the pre-built main demo shipped with the toolkit.

Thanks, I have tried Version 17 and it's ok.
Now the question is: Does Leadtools 17 support pdf version 1.6?

Thanks

Andrea
