I have an original black and white document that some of the text has been marked with a color highlighter. When this document is scanned as a black and white image the highlighted text appears completely black. Are there any image processing methods to correct this issue? I am using LEADTOOLS 14.5 with C++. Thanks.

If it's already scanned as black and white, all color information will be lost.
If you can re-scan the document in color, you can use LEADTOOLS image processing features to convert it to black and white and have more control on what to do with different parts and different colors of the image.
Do you have a sample image that you can send to us with an explanation of the changes you want made to it? If yes, please put the image in a ZIP or RAR file before you attach it and do not use the preview feature.
