Due to Photoshop's layering capabilities, there are endless kinds of effects you can create by making alterations to layers and then combining them back onto each other like the "sketch effect" posted here: http://www.tutorialized....etch-Effect/43458.  LEADTOOLS doesn't have layering built into it, but it is possible to combine images onto each other with different operations like add, subtract, multiply, etc. (take a look at the flags for the CombineCommand in .NET or L_CombineBitmap in CDLL).

In most cases we don't have a single function that accomplishes the effect (neither does Photoshop!), so you have to try and get similar results for each step required for the effect.  We have many of the same image processing functions like invert, edge detection, blurring, etc.  Keep in mind that not all the functions and layer blending modes have the same name, so your best bet is to simply experiment and play around with different effects and flags and values.  The CDLL Image Processing Features demo (LEADTOOLS 16.5\Examples\CDLL\ImagePF) has most of our functions and has dialogs with inputs so you can immediately see before and after results and is great for testing our different features.

Attached is a C# 2005 example using LEADTOOLS 16.5's .NET interface to mimick the sketch effect tutorial mentioned above.  It uses the InvertCommand, MinimumCommand, CombineCommand, RemapIntensityCommand, ColorSeparateCommand, ColorMergeCommand

Another related demo that might be of interest is one about doing layers and implementing transparency: http://support.leadtools...rums/30245/ShowPost.aspx

Updated to LEADTOOLS v19 with Visual Studio 2017. Also changed project to automatically select dll's for running in 32-bit and 64-bit.
Extract folder to "C:\LEADTOOLS 19\Examples\DotNet\CS\" to use the example.
