Hi,

I have one application using Lead 12. In this application I am pasting image on lead control and then saving it to DB.

The same image when i tried to open in another application which uses Lead 14.0, I am getting invalid file format.

For other images which are saved in Lead 12 from disk are working fine. Only clipboard images are giving proble. This problem also coming in client machine only, not in development system.

Can anyone help in guiding which dll i am missing in my deployment.

Thanks and Reagrds,
Harish

Harish,

'Invalid file format' error messages are normally generated due to a missing DLL file which is required to load specific image format. For example, if you to load Bmp image file, you need to have the LfBmp???.dll file. And include it in your application EXE folder or system PATH, such as the Windows\SYSTEM32 folder.

It seems that the application that uses LEADTOOLS v14 misses required DLL needed for loading the file format you are saving with LEADTOOLS v12.

Please refer to the help topic "Files to be Included with Your Application" to know what DLLs you need to add to your application.
