I have to do histogram matching between images that have logarithmic data in them.. Can this be done by the inbuilt histeq(I,hgram) function in matlab??? In an IEEE paper I found a formula.. can anybody explain the crux of it and how to implement it in matlab??.. Is it same as the normal matching process??? Im attatching the paper and the formula is in the second page.. under heading B. histogram mapping.. - regards,flyboy..

I'm afraid that our knowledge of the Histogram behavior is limited to our Toolkits. Also, I have no knowledge of the Histogram methods in Matlab.
