Hi all,

I need you assistance. I have documents scanned through my application. these documents can be in colored mode or black and white. But I need the right format to save to maintain a logical file size and a clear resolution.

So which file format do you suggest? I prefer using tiff because i need to OCR these file later. But if there any format that can help me with this issue, I'll use it.

Thanks

For black
and white images, you can use the TIFF CCIT G4 file format. For colored images, use the TIFF LZW file format.

There are other formats with similar or better compression, but these 2 are very common.
