Hey All,
I'm trying to get a file in my Lead control to save as a valid .jpg.  I set a stdPicture object to a picture from a third party control.  I then use the set command in my Lead control to import it.  This works just fine.

The problem comes when I save it.  If I save it as a file_bmp, it's viewable, but it doesn't have any of the .jpg compression.  However, if I save as file_jpeg, the file saves and has about the right size, but I can't view it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What QFactor are you using when saving the JPEG?

What application(s) are you using to load the JPEG?

Can LEADTOOLS load the JPEG?

Most likely, you are saving the JPEG as lossless (QFactor < 2).  Windows and most other applications can NOT load lossless JPEGs, so you should save JPEGs with a QFactor between 2 and 255 if you want other applications to load them.
