Hi,

We have developed Web pages by using the Lead tools Active X 14.0 but now for various reasons we would like to avoid active x download at client machines, Can you pl. suggest the best way (possible ways) to avoid client side downloads.
It will be greatful If you can provide examples for doing this.

Regards,
Suresh

If your web application uses
some of our ActiveX controls, these controls must be installed on the client machine before the web page is accessed to eliminate the need to download them.

The only other alternative is to re-write your
application to use another technology different from ActiveX or COM objects, such as web services where almost all processing is done at the server side.
