LEADTOOLSMultimedia Feature

Hi All,

I want to integrate a DVD Burner with my application so I am studying LEADTOOLSMultimedia. My requirement is I want to create a Video DVD of a WMV File with these features –

a.       Background (Choose a background image (skins) or add a custom background. Default should be the same background chosen for the video)

b.       Layout (Vertical Left, Centered, etc…)

c.        Menu Title (Edit title and change font size, style and color)

d.       Chapter Title (Edit chapter title and change font size, style and color)

e.       Video Thumbnail (Default is first photo in video. Need ability to change thumbnail)

f.         DVD Writer (select DVD burner)

g.       Disc Speed (1x, 2x, 4x, 6x, MAX)

h.       Disc Format (NTSC, PAL)

i.         Video Quality (Normal, High Quality)

j.         Copies (Select number of copies)

Does your software provide these features? Just comment how many features your software provides.

If your software provides almost all the features then I also want to know the license details.

Does it an open source?

Parul,
All of these features are supported by our toolkit except for:
b. Menu Layout.
e. Video Thumbnail.

Most of these features are already implemented in the DVD
authoring and DVD burner demos shipped with the toolkit. Please check these demos and see it .there are more features listed in the help file.
The cost of the multimedia toolkit plus the DVD module is $890 ($595+ $295).
You are also required to pay deployment royalties if you implement the DVD module.

The source code of the toolkit itself is not provided. You
only get the DLLs and related headers and LIB files, along with documentation, demo projects, and free email technical support.

Yes i think we will implement the DVD Module if we are going to Burn DVD-Video.

so what about the the deployment royalities.

Parul,

You can add chapters to your DVDs. However, this requires
that you recreate your DVD into a new image that contains all the old chapters, plus the new chapter(s) you want to add.

About the deployment royalties, please read the help topic
"DVD Module Agreement" in the help file named "Licensing", which is installed with the toolkit.
