Hello, Lead Support;

We recently licenced the NITF dll package and we have our application running and have seen no issues with the NITF imaging support. We would like to deploy our application with the minimum number of Lead dll components, but the list of dependencies in the documentation topic "Files To Be Included With Your Application" does not seem to include some essential dlls. So far, we have had to deploy our app with the 200 binaries that ship with the packages we received. Would you please provide us with a list of the minimum number of dlls needed to support the NITF format. We are only making calls to the API's that are used in the sample NITF app you ship with the SDK.

Many thanks,

Chuck

Chuck,

The NITF API Help file contains information about NITF
support, which you need to check in addition to the help topic "Files to be Included with Your Application" in the main help file.
This means you need to read the "Files.." help topic
in both files, because NITF will also need the basic LEADTOOLS DLLs such as LtKrn and LtFil.

If you want to know the exact set of files needed, you can do the following:
1. Build and run your program inside the Visual Studio debugger.
2. In the Debug window, you should get a list of loaded DLLs
(both LEAD and system files). You need all of them, except possibly some LF???15u.DLL files.

The reason some LF*.DLL files are loaded even if
they're not needed is that our file loading functions (part of LTFIL15u.DLL)
might try to examine a file using several LF*.DLL modules before it can determine what type of file it is.
