Hello

I'm having problem using the Lead Vector ActiveX control within Delphi 2006.

I have imported the component (generating the appropriate wrapper classes), and have been successfully able to use it within a testbed application, which loads an SVG file and renders it (using the Render function) on a LeadMain VCL control.

When I copy this same code to my main project, I get a run-time error when loading the same vector image into the vector control:

EOleException with message 'LEAD Error: Invalid file format'.

I have called UnlockSupport(L_SUPPORT_VECTOR, ...) on the control in case this was the cause, but to no avail. I have also tried loading other vector images (that work correctly in the testbed app) but this also does not work.

Has anybody encountered such issues before?

Regards,

Andrew

Andrew,

'Invalid file format' error messages are normally generated due
to a missing DLL file which is required to load specific image format. For
example, if you want to load SVG vector file, you need to deploy the LFSVG???.DLL file with your application.

For a listing of the exact DLLs needed when deploying
your application, refer to "Files To Be Included With Your Application" topic in our help file.
