Hello, I am new to Visual Studio and Lead Tools. I am trying a simple example using the Class Library, just show an Open File Dialog derived from LDialogFile as it is shown in the help file Ltdlgclibn.chm. I tell the linker to use the Lib\API\Win32 for libraries, and add the following additional dependencies (as is said in the section "Files To Be Included With Your Application" from the help file):

ltdlgfile_u.lib
ltfil_u.lib
ltdis_u.lib
Ltdlgkrn_u.lib
Ltdlgclr_u.lib
Ltdlgefx_u.lib
Ltdlgimg_u.lib
Ltdlgimgdoc_u.lib
Ltdlgimgefx_u.lib
Ltdlgweb_u.lib

When I try to compile, the syntax is OK but it gives me linker errors:

1>Dialogos.obj : error LNK2019: símbolo externo "__declspec(dllimport) public: __thiscall LDialogFile::LDialogFile(void)" (__imp_??0LDialogFile@@QAE@XZ) sin resolver al que se hace referencia en la función "public: __thiscall LUserFileDialog::LUserFileDialog(void)" (??0LUserFileDialog@@QAE@XZ)

1>Dialogos.obj : error LNK2001: símbolo externo "protected: virtual int __thiscall LBase::StatusCallBack(int)" (?StatusCallBack@LBase@@MAEHH@Z) sin resolver

...

Up to 15 linker errors I do not know what I am doing wrong. I will thank any help

Thanks: 3 times

When using the LEADTOOLS C++ Class Library, you should link to the LTWVC_U.LIB import library, and NOT the ones you listed; those are for API applications.

However, your application will still require the various .DLLs be in the PATH.
