Hi,

I am saving TIFF file of which bit depth is 8bit. Expected is that o/p file should not show color component but I m getting color component while using the same logic and same input if  I am saving as JPEG file it works fine. Please suggest me some solution as it is urgent.

Thanks

Haider.

Depending on the compression, TIF files can have color 8bpp images.  JPEGs can only be grayscale when saved out as 8bpp.  To save a grayscale, 8bpp TIFF, you will need to either save a TIF with JPEG compression (i.e. FILE_TIF_JPEG) or you will need to change the palette to grayscale before you save the image.
