I'm trying to output to CMYK from MS Publisher but I keep getting the error message:
Publisher cannot print this publication. To print composite CMYK or separations, you must use a printer driver that is set to output PostScript language level 2 or later.
Can the ePrint Driver be set to Output at PostScript language level 2?
Is this a print driver issue or a Publisher issue?
BTW I'm running WIN2K on a PC utilising Leadtools ePrint IV.

LEADTOOLS ePrint IV is not a PostScript printer driver. It
can only take print jobs sent to it from Windows applications using the
standard Windows printing mechanism of creating a printer Device Context (DC),
and using GDI calls to draw text and graphics on that DC.
Although ePrint can output Encapsulated PostScript files
(EPS), these are limited to grayscale 8-bit raster EPS, and do not support CMYK
or any other color mode.

Thanks Ismail,
I notice that there is the option when printing tifs to output as uncompressed cmyk to seperate files. Will that produce useable files for my commercial printshop? The problem I'm having is poor colour density because I'm sending RGB PDF files and they want CMYK for ripping to plates. Plus they're having to process in their studio at extra cost to me.

LEADTOOLS ePrint cannot separate the C, M, Y and K planes
into different files. What "Separate Files" means is that every page
of printout will be saved in a different file. Each of these files will contain
all 4 CMYK planes.
If TIFF CMYK output is useful to you, try it and see if the
quality is acceptable. Please note that you cannot control the color profiles
of such files using ePrint, and only a default form of RGB to CMYK conversion
takes place.
