Hi all
I use a database language called VDF (Visual Dataflex 11.1) which you probably have never heard of.
It does allow the 'Import' of ActiveX controls
I'm trying tyo create a twain interface with your Eval Raster ActiveX
When I go to import your ActiveX into VDF I have the following choices
LEAD BarCode Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD Dicom Kernal Class
LEAD DigitalPaint Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD ImageList Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD ISIS Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD JPEG 2000 Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD Main Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD Mixed ratser Content Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD Multimedia Library Control (Eval 15.0)(version1.0)
LEAD OLE DB Control (14.0)(OLEDB)(version1.0)
LEAD Ratser Image Container Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD Raster ImageList Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD Raster Object Libraryl (14.0)
LEAD Raster OLE DB Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD Raster View Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD Screen Capture Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD Thumbnail Browser Control (14.0)(version1.0)
LEAD Toolbar Control (14.0)(version1.0)

None of them seem to have twain as part of the filename ? Which ones do I need ?

Our Twain object, the "LEAD RasterTwain Object Library (14.0)", is a COM Object but not a full OCX (ActiveX) control. If your programming environment has support for non-OCX COM, you should be able to use it.
In some programming environments, both are supported but they are treated differently. For example, in Borland Delphi, OCX are added using the "Import ActiveX control..." option from the Component menu, while non OCX objects are added using the "Import Type Library" option from the Project menu.
Try to find out if VDF has similar distinction.
