G'day!

I am using using the LEAD Command Line Utilities with the switch's of /F17 /NOUI. The images that I am converting do not have a .TIF extension, but rather have a .1 or .2 etc... Every time I run the conversion, it renames the file(s) to .1.tif or .2.tif... Is there anyway to have LFC leave the original file extension and not add the .TIF?

Currently this feature not supported in the LFC. however I will add it to our feature request list.

LFC does not have this functionality. However, if you are calling LFC from a batch file running on XP, then you can do something like this: @ECHO OFF
:: Initialise workfile
TYPE NUL>%TEMP%.\_RN.CMD :: Hide self from FOR IN DO scan
attrib +H "%~f0"
FOR %%F IN (*.*) DO CALL :_RENAME "%%F"
attrib -H "%~f0"
:: Execute the REName workfile and delete it
CALL %TEMP%.\_RN.CMD
DEL %TEMP%.\_RN.CMD
GOTO :EOF
:_RENAME
:: Extract each file BaseName and Extension
SET FN=%~n1
SET EXT=%~x1
:: Create RENaming workfile (snipping final 4 chars from BaseName)
ECHO REN "%FN:~0,-1%%EXT:~0,-1%" "%FN:~0,-1%">>%TEMP%.\_RN.CMD
:EOF

The LFC tool is no longer offered as a stand-alone utility, but its full source code is shipped with the newer versions of LEADTOOLS imaging SDK.
