I want to retreive and change the settings for H264 video and audio programatically.
Is the code the same for directshow and mediafouncation sdk?

Hi Mike,

If you are wanting to encode your files with different h.264 settings, I would suggest you look at the Convert demo. There are differences between how you would approach an implementation between DirectShow and MediaFoundation, but the general idea is the same. With the installation of the SDK on your machine, you can find this demo at the following default installation location:
C:\LEADTOOLS22\Shortcuts\Multimedia\Conversion and Compression\DirectShow\Dotnet Class Library
C:\LEADTOOLS22\Shortcuts\Multimedia\Conversion and Compression\Media Foundation\Dotnet Class Library

This demo will allow you to supply an input media file, and then select the Target format (with audio compressor and video compressor) which you wish to use when encoding. In your case, once you select the Target Format, you can manipulate the settings by selecting the properties button on the right. We provide the full demo code within the demo which you can use to help aid in your own implementation.

Thanks for the reply.
I wanted the ability to change the settings programatically for the following reasons.
The last settings on the dialog are always reset to default when the application is closed.
