We are using version 14.5 in Delphi 7. Been using OCR in our product for years. Every now and then the OCR engine times out while processing a page. This is typically a page with a grid full of small type. The timeout seems related to CPU speed - slower CPUs time out, faster ones don't on the same file. Question is: Can we set the OCR timeout? We've looked through the document and other interfaces and cannot find a property for this. Thanks.

Hello,

Apologies, but I was unable to find in our documentation any indictation that the OCR engine timeout can be changed in v14.5. Note if this is only occurring with specific documents, consider image preprocessing prior to recognition.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will fool around with image preprocessing next week.
