Question on How to generate a Unique Identifier and add it to your DICOM DataSet

by Nick Villalobos seems like it might have a bug.

The code sample seems to be calling an extra call to x on line 23 because we already have a value for orgnum from GenerateNewUid in that code.

ds.InsertElementAndSetValue(DicomTag.SOPInstanceUID, GenerateNewUid(orgnum));

Does it look like a bug to anyone?

Hello Dan,

Thanks for catching that. It was probably a line that was included for testing in an actual project, but was never removed when creating the post. I'll go ahead and update the code snippet.
