Hi out there,

we have an old DMS Server and on the client side we use the eprint5 Virtual Printer to write Documents in this DMS.
Now we have to remove the eprint5 from our clients and i hope we can do this via grouppolicy / login script.

Can someone tell me how to remove the eprint5 with cmd so that i can put this in our login-script ?
The aim is, not to have to use the "Remove Printer" Context-Menue within Windows GUI.

Thanks a lot,

Burkhard

Hi,
Hope this finds you well.

Here a few of the methods that subverts using the Windows GUI to remove ePrint5.
https://www.windows-comm...ms-windows-command-line/
OR
http://www.digitalcitize...indows-programs-and-apps

Using the second parts of method #4
4. Uninstall desktop apps using their setup MSI file
……
The removal can also be triggered from the command line. Open the Command Prompt as administrator and type “msiexec /x ” followed by the name of the ".msi" file used by the program you want to remove.

You can also add other command line parameters to control the way the uninstall is done. For more information, check this article from Microsoft: Msiexec (command-line options).
If you are interested in how to remove modern apps from Windows, which are distributed using the Windows Store, read the second page in this guide.

If the above methods are unable to remove ePrint5; try removing the driver (the link below).
This will not remove the program but at least cease functionality if that is your objective.
