Re: unable to edit annotation stamp created with Acrobat DC

i have created an personalized stamp containing an image with the latest Adobe Acrobat DC.

I am not able to modify this annotation object (personalized stamp) with latest leadtools v19 demo.
I tried several demos. With LEADTOOLS, in some cases it is seen as an embedded image. In other cases not even appear (opened with pdf document demoappears only on the thumbnails).

Is normal this incompatibility between Adobe Acrobat annotations and LEADTOOLS annotations?

Unfortunately, Leadtools v19 does not currently support PDF personalized stamp annotations. This is why you are seeing multiple bad images and don't have the ability to modify these annotations when loading the file using Leadtools.

I can submit a feature request, on your behalf, for this functionality to be added to the SDK if you like.

In order to proceed further with the feature request, I need you to send an email to support@leadtools.com including the following information:

1. The company you work for
2. The LEADTOOLS serial number/numbers you own (if you are evaluating, just say so)
3. The name/names of the developer/developers using the serial number/numbers
4. A link to this forum post

Doing the opposite I have the same problem. Making an annotation stamp with Leadtools, i'm not able to read it with Acrobat.

I believe that the annotations with the images must be compatible between both softwares.

When saving annotations using our Annotations Demo, the Leadtools annotations are saved to a .XML file. If you do not burn the annotations to the image (For example: Annotations > Realize when using (C:\LEADTOOLS 19\Examples\DotNet\CS\AnnotationsDemo)) the annotations will not open within Acrobat. Once you do Annotations > Realize, the annotations are not editable within Acrobat.

This being said, we do have support for adding multiple PDF annotations that will open and be editable within Acrobat. At the moment, this support does not include the stamp annotation. You can test this out with using our PDF Document demo (C:\LEADTOOLS 19\Examples\DotNet\CS\PDFDocumentDemo).
