When installing latest update from Microsoft .NET framework version 4.5.1, leadtools components of version 16.5.0.0 give error message:

Exception:Thrown: "Could not load file or assembly \'Leadtools.MedicalViewer, Version=16.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=9cf889f53ea9b907\' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format." (System.BadImageFormatException) A System.BadImageFormatException was thrown: "Could not load file or assembly \'Leadtools.MedicalViewer, Version=16.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=9cf889f53ea9b907\' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format."

You will not be able to use LEADTOOLS v16.5 DLLs with Microsoft .NET framework version 4.5.1, because the version of these DLLs is .NET 2.0. If you want to use v16.5 DLLs with VS 2010, 2012 or 2013, you need to set the application's .NET framework to 2, 3 or 3.5.
Note that the latest version of LEADTOOLS (v18) contains .NET 2.0 and .NET 4.0 DLLs. You should be able to the use the .NET 4.0 DLLs with Microsoft .NET framework version 4.5.1.
If you would like, you can download and try the free evaluation version of LEADTOOLS v18 from our website leadtools.com.
