This example demonstrates how to use our Raster REST service to load separate pages from a non web-native, multipage document (PDF for instance). It loads the first page after clicking the "Load File" button.

As the outer container is scrolled down, more pages are loaded via the service and added to the DOM (using jquery) as new instances of the HTML5 Image Viewer.

The project requires the following setup steps:
1. Run the REST service config utility:
"C:\LEADTOOLS 18\Bin\Dotnet4\x64\LeadtoolsServicesHostManager_Original.exe". Make sure the "Group" is set to "LEADTOOLS REST Services for HTML5"

Once that's finished, the REST services should be available at
http://localhost/LEADTOOLSRESTServicesHost

2. Setup a new virtual directory in IIS in the same domain/port as the REST services, and have it point to the attached project. This is required, otherwise you'll get errors about Cross Domain Scripting permissions.

Other than those steps, the project should be ready to run. The formats that are supported by default are whichever codecs are included in C:\LEADTOOLS 18\Examples\REST\RESTServicesHost\Bin. So if the format you want to open isn't in there, you'll need to add the required codec. To determine which codecs are required for which file formats, refer to this document:
