Compressed ".pdf" file is not opening in Windows Reader.

Hi,
We are using Lead Tools APIs in our project to generate compressed ".pdf" file. Currently we are using Lead Tools 14.5 library.
We are using below API to compress 24 bit image.
L_SaveBitmap(szICTTempFile,&oSrcBmp,FILE_JP2,0,nQfact,NULL);
The generated ".pdf" file is displaying as blank in Windows Reader, but same file is opening properly in Adobe Reader and other readers.
So we are thinking the Windows Reader is unable to read the Compressd data stream. Is there any compression technique other than "FILE_JP2", which will work in Store App environmanet?
Is it realy an issue from image compression problem?
Could you please help regarding the above issue?

Hari,

The format FILE_JP2 is a JPEG2000 image and not PDF in itself, but you are probably taking the output from our toolkit and using it with some other software or library to generate the PDF. If that's the case, we cannot guarantee the correctness of PDF files not generated from our toolkit.

Yes, we are taking the output from Lead Tools API and creating the ".pdf" file. For ".pdf" file creation, we are using our own code to create ".pdf" body structure. According to our observation, this issue is not happening for Black & White Images. For Black & White images, we are using FILE_FAX_G4 compression technique. If there is a issue from ".pdf" body structure, the file will not read by Adobe and other redaers. But it is properly opening in Adobe and other readers. So we are thinking this is an issue because of compression problem. Please help regarding this query. Please find the attached file which is not opeing in Windows Reader.

Will it work, if we upgrade the Lead Tools library to 17.5?

I am not sure yet what is causing the problem on your side. Maybe Windows Reader doesn't support JP2 compression. Since the PDF file is not created using LEADTOOLS, I don't know if it is going to work.
However, you can download and try the evaluation of LEADTOOLS 17.5, and see if it works or not.
