Hi,
I am using LEAD Tools 14 in Web Application.
I am using Active Server Pages for development.
My problems are as stated bellow :-

1] SAVE IMAGE TO SERVER (DICOM OR JPG)
I load image from server to client using RasterIO.BitmapDataPath() method.
I am also able to apply various processing features on image at client side like brightness, contrast etc.

Now, I want to save this image to server.

How can I save this processed image (DICOM or JPG) to server from client side ?

2] LOAD DICOM TAGS AT CLIENT END
I want to display the user all the DICOM tags and their values at client side.
eg. User will view one web page containing list of all DICOM tags in selected DICOM image and their value as displayed bellow :-
Patient ID - 236598745
Patient Name - Astme Gorge
Series Instance UID - 125487.2548755.2488
etc.
etc.
etc.

To do this, I need to load DICOM Data Set at client end.

How can I load DICOM Data Set at client end ?

3] SAVE DICOM DATA SET TO SERVER
As stated in Problem 2], User will view all tags and their values.
User is allowed to change the values of some of the tags like Patient Name.
User will change this value on same page and this should be saved to server.

To do this, I need to save DICOM Data Set to server.

How can I save DICOM Data Set to server ?

The best way to exchange data sets between a client and a server is by
using the ILEADDicomNet COM object (part of Medical Imaging Suite) to
set up a DICOM server on the server side, and a DICOM client on the
client side.  You can then use message exchange methods to send
data sets between the client and the server.  The DICOM COM Help
file includes more details on how to create a DICOM connection and send data through it.

When you store images to DICOM Server (WEB Server), you need data set.
And I am loading the image into browser from server.
In this case, only Pixel Data is returned to client side(No data set is returned).
Is there any way to retrive data set from server so that I
will be able to save image back to server using DICOM Send ?

Not sure I fully understood your question.  Are you saying that you only want to exchange pixel data between the client and server?

Hi,

My first problem is to exchange pixel data between server and client.

I will load image (DICOM OR JPG) from server to client using RasterIO.BitmapDataPath() method.  User will apply some processing to this image at client end like brightness, contrast, Window Level etc.  After processing completed, user will save the image to server.

To save processed image to server :-

1] In case of DICOM image, I need to exchange Pixel Data to server.

2] In case of JPG image, I just want to update the source image on server to the processed image at client.

How could I do above two things ?

My second problem is to display the user, DICOM tags from selected image.

I will create one web page that will display the user all the DICOM tags from selected image.

User will change the values of some of the tags (eg. Patient Name etc) and save the changes.

Saved changes should be reflected to server end.

Do display and update DICOM tags, I need to load the DICOM Dataset.

How can I load the DICOM Dataset at client end ?

How can I save the DICOM Dataset to server ?

Waiting for reply.

For handling the transfer of images from the client to the server, you
can use the Internet COM object.  This object has a InetSendBitmap
method that you can use to send the bitmap to the server.  You can find more details in the Internet COM Help file "Ltnetcomn.chm".

As for transferring DICOM tags and data sets, as I said in my previous reply, you need to use the ILEADDicomNet COM object for this purpose.  This object has a SendCStoreRequest method to move data sets back and forth between the client and the server.
