Hello,

when downloading RAW-Formats from digital cameras of different companies I get mixed results.

With Nikon  .NEF  I see only the thumnail

With Canon .CR2  I see them well but not so big I would expect!

I'm using raster-image pro v13.

Is there a chance to get the whole image? (maybe with a newer Version of leadtools ?)

The problem increases, cause many pro-photographs use this file-format and they are asking for a solution!

Thanks

Jörg

Was thanked: 2 time(s) in 2 post(s)

Support for Raw Canon files began in v14 of LEADTOOLS.  The
current version is 15.  As for Nikon files, please post a sample as I cannot see any mention of this type in our documentation.

LEADTOOLS does not support Nikon NEF files.  This has already been added as a feature request with the reference number 846FRQ.  Feature requests are usually implemented on major releases.

hello,

what does it means ".. are usually implemented on major releases". Is it implemented in the newest Ver. 15?

Nope, this was not added in version 15.  If they choose to implement this feature, it will most likely appear in whatever our next major release is.
