I have tested here using our "API DLL Demo", I compiled and executed the demo.

I Created a new printer and used the "L_EpnCreateSaveDC" function and didn’t get the error message.

Can you test this issue using our demo on your
machine and see if the error message appears? The demo is located ain the installation directory of your ePirn5.

I have used the demo and work station applications successfully since first installing them. And much of what I have done in the attachment of the OP is based upon the API documentation for L_EpnCreateSaveDC.

edited: Trying the demo again I noticed that the printer that I used did not include TIF as a file format. Where my output type is TIF. It is now working when I added a printer that includes TIF.
