Hi..
I am using lead tools 14.5 RasterImageViewer for viewing the PDFfiles. I am using same method in your sample program or even in your sample program image quality is too poor. The method i am using is codecs.Load(FileName, 0, CodecsLoadByteOrder.BgrOrGray, firstPage, lastPage).....
The attached PDF looks very different in our viewer using your tool kit vs. the Adobe Acrobat Reader.
I am attaching Image file also.
Could you please help me in doing the correct setting to get good quality of image as ADOBE.
Thanks in advance
Pawan

Try loading the file with a higher DPI (e.g. 150).  You can do
that by setting the Codecs.Options.Pdf.Load.XResolution and YResolution properties to 150 or higher.

but when i am saveing that image after changed X and Y resolution 150 or higher. The Image memory size is more then 10 times of orignal image size. Following saving method i am using.
codecs.Save(viewer.Image, FileName,RasterImageFormat.RasPdfJpeg411 , 24, FirstPage, LastPage, SavePageNumber,Leadtools.Codecs.CodecsSavePageMode.Append)

This is normal because when you increase the loading resolution the image will be loaded with larger width and height which will make the image bigger in size.

Edit by moderator:
In the latest versions of LEADTOOLS, re-saving PDF can be done without loading it as raster. This means the PDF file can be re-compressed or optimized to possibly produce smaller files than the original.
