Hi

I've got a scanned document in 1 Color tiff format (black and white).
But I want to show this picture (eg a DIN A4 letter) in a better way.
So that it looks like a grayscale picture. Does anybody knows what I want and what I have to do? (Sorry for my bad english)

Many Thanks

Frank

Frank,

If you have a Document/Medical toolkit, you can try changing the LEADRasterView.BitonalScaling property to BITONALSCALING_SCALETOGRAY.  This will retain the file as a 1-bit image and make it more readable.

If you do not have a Document/Medical toolkit, you can save the image as an 8-bit greyscale image, reopen it, and use the LEADRasterView.PaintScaling property set to PAINTSCALING_RESAMPLE.  However, this will greatly increase your file size since it is 8 bpp rather than 1.
