We have used LeadTools dll and ocx in our setup file, but during registering the dll/s & ocx/s in a machine where leadtools is not already installed we get an error registering LTVEC14E.OCX. The error msg is "Registering ...LTvec14e.ocx Failed". But in a machine where leadtools is already installed we didn't get this error & setup is running properly.

Try the latest version of LEADTOOLS for free for 60 days by downloading the evaluation: https://www.leadtools.com/downloads

To register LTVEC14E.OCX, you will need the following LEADTOOLS files:
LTDIS14E.DLL

LTDLGCTRL14E.DLL
LTDLGFILE14E.DLL
LTDLGKRN14E.DLL
LTDLGUTL14E.DLL
LTFIL14E.DLL
LTIMG14E.DLL
LTKRN14E.DLL
LVDLG14E.DLL
LVKRN14E.DLL

You will also need the following Windows/Microsoft files, but most of them are part of the operating system and will already exist on all Windows machines:
ADVAPI32.DLL
COMCTL32.DLL
COMDLG32.DLL
GDI32.DLL
KERNEL32.DLL
LZ32.DLL
MFC42.DLL
MSVCRT.DLL
NTDLL.DLL
OLE32.DLL
OLEAUT32.DLL
RPCRT4.DLL
SHELL32.DLL
SHLWAPI.DLL
URLMON.DLL
USER32.DLL
VERSION.DLL

Scott,
For non-LEAD system files, you should not copy them if they already exist. In my previous post I wrote "most of them are part of the operating system and will already exist". This means you should check if any of them is missing, and find out why it's missing. For example, the file
MFC42.DLL usually exists on most Windows machines nowadays, but a newly-installed Windows might not have it (some versions at least).
The means what you need to do is:
1. Begin with a PC in a good condition.
2. Copy the needed LEADTOOLS files.
3. Check the non-LEAD files and see if any of them is missing.
4. If all files are there, register the OCX.
