Limitation of files when converting

Hi everyone,

I intend to use LEADTOOLS for converting multiple media files with different formats to *.wmv. Do we support large files (>1GB), or any limitations about the extension when converting?

Thank you for your interest in LEADTOOLS. LEADTOOLS does support the ability to convert to the WMV multimedia format.

You will be able to convert large files using the ConvertCtrl class.

The only limitation you can encounter is if you decide to convert using 32-bit or 64-bit as the amount of memory that can be accessed is restricted based on architecture. If you do decide to stick with 64-bit you shouldn't encounter any limitations. Once you have the LEADTOOLS SDK installed, I would suggest testing with the LEADTOOLS Convert demo which will allow you to quickly test converting between your media files. You can find this demo at the following default installation location: C:\LEADTOOLS21\Shortcuts\Multimedia\Conversion and Compression\DirectShow\Dotnet Class Library\Convert 64-bit
