I am using the zonetype to help with my recognition application. If I have a table zonetype, what other Leadtools functionality can I use that would help me determine how many columns are in my table?

Hello Judy,

I have contacted you via email with an additional explanation for the answer below.

To access properties of a table you can use the TableZoneManager of the IOcrPage. That manager has a method, getVerticalSplitters, that will return the positions of divisions between columns. Simply add one to the length of the array returned to get the number of columns:

Code:

int num_columns = ocrPageInstance.TableZoneManager.GetVerticalSplitters(someZoneIndex).Length + 1;

Thanks,
