I'm using LEAD Tools to generate code 128 barcodes and I'm not sure if I need to add "*" characters before and after my string to have a valid barcode. How do I get correct symbols with your SDK?

LEADTOOLS doesn't need you to supply the "*' character as the start and stop characters when encoding any type of barcode.

This character is only used with barcode generated using fonts (and only with some sub-types such as code 39).

When using LEADTOOLS, you'll only need to supply the data you wish to encode without the need to specify the start/stop characters. Our toolkit will generate the correct barcodes with all needed symbols automatically.
